Mosaic of green leaves, ferns and textile art techniques

Here's a little mosaic I made the other day. It features green leaves, ferns and textile art techniques. Greens always work so well together in art and embroidery, as they do in nature!

1. Green yarns - yarn wrap 2. Leaf fabric with leaves 3. Pressed fern trapped under plastic, stitch on green hand dyed cotton 4. Monoprint/print and stitch 5. Stitched circles 6. Machine embroidered fern - zig zag stitch 7. Felt bonded to silver metallic fabric with bondaweb, french knots, beads and sequins 8. Sun print of a fern. 9. Palm tree trunks and leaves

Carolyn,
I love the different aspects of nature your art reflects. I admire all things "fern".
