Cutting Up and Mark Making

Taking it further ...

I used oil pastels in an abstract pattern as a resist and water colour paints, then cut it up into small squares

Mark Making - I added marks on some of the squares. Each square could be used for inspiration for a further piece of work

Hi Carol - what a jewel of a blog you have here. I'm so happy I stumbled upon it from Fiber/Textile Flickr. I am going to link to you if it's alright - your work MUST be seen and shared. Very, very inspirational.

Thanks so much for your lovely comments and of course it's ok to link and follow me. I will be posting the next project very soon, I just need to catch up with a couple of textile challenges. If I'm not blogging here then you will find me on LOVE STITCHING RED (there is a link at the top of this page)

Bye for now - Carolyn
