Inspiration

I was inspired by this card from a textile show I attended "Room to Roam" with work from Julia Caprara, Sue Dove, Helen Parrott, Annie Sherburne ...

I particularly love the colours in this piece





























Painted papers torn and re-assembled in an interesting way












Copper shimmering acrylic paint on Tyvek distressed with an iron (not forgetting the baking paper to protect the iron!)















Copper, orange and yellow silk paints on muslin. I let the silk paints run (I didn't use gutta) then I hand stitched the flower design on top in gold metallic thread, adding beads in the centre
