Yarn Wraps and Tyvek

The hot colours in this picture (from a magazine) inspired these samples - playing with combinations of colours in yarn wraps and Tyvek samples. I painted the Tyvek with acrylic paints and then distorted them with a hot iron

Currently I post my weekly collages for The Collage Workbook project [future date TBA]. I'm also continuing to work on my samples for the Surface Treatment Workshop and will share from time to time. My first love is textiles and I'm working on some personal projects at present including abstract paintings with texture and stitch.
