Global Warming - Knitted Textile Art

This is a really long piece of knitting using many different textured yarns

Continuing with my theme of red to represent the heat of global warming, white for melting polar ice caps and blue for the oceans and rising sea levels

Using different plys of yarns produces a lacy effect

Currently I post my weekly collages for The Collage Workbook project [future date TBA]. I'm also continuing to work on my samples for the Surface Treatment Workshop and will share from time to time. My first love is textiles and I'm working on some personal projects at present including abstract paintings with texture and stitch.
