A day at the beach
Things I love Thursday - walking on the beach, wet sand, bare feet, paddling, beachcombing, shells, seagulls, making happy faces in the sand and taking home treasures
1. You soothe my soul 2. Having a good time despite the long skirt 3. White shell 4. My mother's gone to fetch him back 5. Sanderling at Harbour Cove (Feb) 6. Sand art face - Daddy 7. Number 292 8. My father's gone to sea 9. Corners of my home - sitting room 10. Bounty 11. Patterns take time 12. The effect of extra time 13. Picking up rocks
More things I love Thursday - playing with beach treasures, making still life arrangements, vintage photos, interesting words, seaweed and mussel shells
beauty was all about wide eyes and gypsy dark hair and making grown men faint

A beautiful, evocative post Carolyn xx
What a pretty blog!
I love your beach posts--- I was at the beach earlier in June and spent my walks there looking for rocks-- every once in a while I would look out at the waves which I love very much--always returning to the endless search for that wonderful rock...
i just posted inspired by your textile art and fog and swell, you must see her fabric starfish and whales, please. you have so much in common.
