Hand Embroidery

This is a small hand embroidery of a landscape I started. I still like it, especially the colours and the stitches, but I haven't touched it for so long I wonder if I ever will finish it. Is it a UFO (Un-Finished Object) or WIP (Work In Progress) ? I can't decide!

It was inspired by a hand embroidery article on stitched landscapes in an early Embroiderers' Guild Stitch magazine and the colours in this monoprint called "Logan Rock" by Reina de Weijer

Currently I post my weekly collages for The Collage Workbook project [future date TBA]. I'm also continuing to work on my samples for the Surface Treatment Workshop and will share from time to time. My first love is textiles and I'm working on some personal projects at present including abstract paintings with texture and stitch.
