Good morning!
My whole weekend was a very busy one, but I found ten minutes to play and enjoyed arranging found objects including a leaf that Monique sent me from Canada, a rose hip, cinnamon sticks brought back from St. Lucia, a dried twig with a dried berry, seeds from my garden, cloves, conkers, shells and pods
Rustic cinnamon sticks in a jar
This is my mosaic for today, inspired by a dark, rainy morning. It's dark and cosy in the cottage and I feel like staying home today and making soup!

Don't you just love the colors of fall? Guh!
Ok...I came out of lurkdom to enter your contest, so I guess now I'd better continue making comments huh? I love your photography series - using book pages as backgrounds is a stroke of brilliance!
Visiting YOU is how I take those "ten minutes to find something I enjoy! Mesmerized (as always) by your beautiful mosaic.
I so enjoyed your elegant arrangements!
Beautiful mosaic Carolyn. Sorry to hear it was a bit dull with you today. Soup sounds a good idea :)
Julie, my life is a happy little one no matter what the weather is doing outside, but it was definitely "a soup day"
:o)
Beautiful photo's as usual Carolyn. Do you want a copy of the instructions for the silk painting?
What lovely neat little arrangements! I was visiting St Ives on Sunday (having had my first ever surfing lesson the previous day in Newquay - photos on my blog to follow!) It was a glorious day and I envy you living there - although no doubt us visitors can be a nuisance x
I love this posting! It describes my love to rainy, grey, foggy days so good. Autumn has two sides: this rainy one and the sunny face with those fantastic warm colors laughing everywhere. But the grey one is like a warm and cosy coat which makes people go into themselves and into their warm home. It calms down. And hearing nice music, lighting candles and sitting with a good soup is like being in mom's fold again...
You are so artistic...I love the little natural, autumn arrangements you made for us. So beautiful and so simple.
Autumn is such a beautiful season.
Mmmm...I'd love to pop over for some soup. What did you end up making?

What a lovey pictures Carolyn. I smell autumn here....
Another delish mosaic and some wonderful artists featured. I feel like a voyeur when I savour the styles and thank you for showing me work from folk I wouldnt have stumbled on, without you!
