Seaside treasures

Mosaic for the flickr group TILT

Things I love Thursday - seasides, the sea, sandy beaches, beachcombing, paddling, shells, limpets, barnacles, pebbles, sea fans, vintage bathing costumes, pearls, whelks, seaweed, beach treasures and salty sea air

Wonderful art and photography from my flickr contacts and faves. Please click on the links to see the artists' work

1. Being at the seaside 2. Special treasures 3. The stone diaries XIII 4. Trace elements 5. Sun rising collage 6. Shell art 7. The sea and herself 8. Stars in her eyes 9. Shell organized collection 10. Dog whelk eggs (Jan) 11. Galveston shadowbox 12. Barnacles 13. Little seascape

The monoprints will follow shortly (mentioned in the last post) and also a post on Love Stitching Red some time too. I've been distracted this week ... sorting out my loft and losing hours and hours discovering treasures and "stuff" I'd forgotten about ... you know what it's like ... and I'm very easily distracted at the moment!

I have enjoyed clicking on all these links because I love pebbles, and beach stuff and collages -- but I think I am beginning to repeat myself!

I love Seaside Treasures. One of my favorite things to do is walk along the beach looking for treasures.
