the shoreline

we have had several heavy showers of hail stones today
so it seems apt to share this heart with a winter beach theme
a winter heart stitched on white silk with grey blue pebble fabric
shells from the beaches at St. Ives and Mousehole and silver snowflakes

I'm giving this away on my FACEBOOK page
please feel free to hop over and add your name or leave a comment here!

I have never seen a heart composed like this with the materials in this puffed shape. I really love the neutral colors that were used. Absolutely stunning! What a wonderful treat to win.

Would so love something like this to give my elder daughter for her winter wedding - she's getting married in an old fort (just across the Tamar into Cornwall), on a cliff, above a wonderful beach with weathered rocks, little caves, rock pools, shifting patterns in the sand, pebbles, shells, seaweed, and all kinds of 'found objects' washed up by the sea...

I have long been an admirer of your beautiful creations Carolyn - but I opted out of Facebook some months ago. I can still admire from afar! I do wish you all the best as you tackle the auto immune blip which afflicts you.
