Tie Dye on Silk

Tie dye using vibrant silk paints on silk. I tied the silk into bunches with lentils inside then, instead of painting or dipping, I injected the paints into the creases

Injected dyes on silk and stitched felt

Silk folded then injected with dyes using a syringe

Blue

Pressed hydrangea petals - faded - have a vintage feel. I picked them at Trengwainton Gardens because they were a pretty old fashioned blue with small pink spots and rings. The colours have faded now but they are still beautiful
