Following on from the last post - inside the Heritage Centre at Geevor Tin Mine there was some wall art that greatly interested me, inspired no doubt by the colour of the Cornish granite, mining architecture, rocks, soil and rusting debris
I find these colours and textures very inspiring and hope you do too
If you are interested in rust as inspiration I have a flickr contact called Pixmaniaque who has the most amazing photographs and I would also like to say thank you to Aileen who found me a gallery of rust squares yesterday

Thank you to have mentioned my work on Flickr too...

Hi C!
The pictures remind me of my fourth grade teacher. She brought in all kinds of rocks for us to look at. Thunder Eggs with crystals inside, other shiny miracles . . . I've never forgotten. Colors are so rich, such gifts. I love seeing things through your eyes!
Ooh lovely textures and colours!
Thought the first one looked like an orb!

Fantastic colors...and the textures...Perhaps I like these even better than the rust pix...hummm maybe I'll have to go back and compare...hummm orange and blue...my very favorite color combo.
