Sticky Tyvek printing

I like to experiment with Tyvek and use it in my work. You may know that when Tyvek is heated it distorts, bubbles up and creates interesting concave and convex textures depending on which side you apply the heat. Well, I came across some Tyvek luggage tags on ebay. They are a nice size to "play" with and they make interesting shaped samples for a sketchbook. I painted a pebble shape on one with acrylics and then heated the tag to distort the pebble shape

Then I put a Tyvek tag through my inkjet printer and printed a couple of pebble shapes






















I heated the Tyvek to distort the pebble shapes a little. I noticed that applying heat to the printed inks made them hot and sticky so I quickly took a print of the pebbles on card
